----------

I must admit, I had never heard of SUEMITSU & THE SUEMITH before Nodame Cantabile came out. But once I heard this song--which is the OP to the Nodame anime--I was hooked on his crazy piano music. The song itself is great, with lyrics that really match his frenetic style of playing. Which makes sense, considering what the song is named (both are music terms, allegro meaning lively and signifying a jovial and quick style of playing, whilst cantabile is a lyrical, sort of sing-song style. See, all those years of orchestra were good for something! XD) Basically it's a song about, well, music. Also, all of the words in katakana--which I always romanize in ALL CAPS!--are musical terms (crescendo, prelude, harmony, in tempo, etude, etc.) Just for the curious. XD

And now I'm going to post his "Sagittarius", which was also used as one of the ED for the same anime! <3
